Meet Tug, a playful, loving and wiggly-tailed guy who’s ready to find his loving home!

At just 1 year old, Tug is the perfect mix of fun and affection. He is social with both new and familiar people, and while he loves his toys, he’s even more excited about spending time with his humans. Whether he’s showing off his perfect sit or leaning in for attention, Tug is all about connection!

Tug is a great greeter — you will usually see him with a loose, wagging body, ready to say hello! Out on walks, he is a polite companion who walks with little-to-no pulling, enjoys sniffing the grass and regularly checks in for treats or affection. Tug is also a big fan of the pool, making him the perfect summer sidekick.

Tug is working on some doggy manners, like jumping up when he gets excited, but he’s eager to learn and loves treats, which makes training a breeze! His confidence has grown every day too, though he may be a little unsure about new objects that he comes across. A supportive home will help him continue to thrive! Tug has also been in many of our doggy playgroups and thrives in run-and-chase style games with rough-and-rowdy play. His canine social skills have really shined, and he would love to have a dog friend who matches his energy and enthusiasm!
