Oriole

This young heartthrob has the kind of soulful puppy-dog eyes that could win an award — and he’s not afraid to use them! A certified cuddle bug with a gentle spirit, Oriole is made of pure love and ready to share it with his future family. Oriole came into our care after being rescued in New York alongside his siblings, and he’s now more than ready to find a loving home of his own.

Oriole loves to play, but once playtime winds down, he’s all about the snuggles — this boy will melt right into your lap the moment you start petting him. Seriously, he is a snuggle pro! He gently slides into your arms and gives you that “please love me” look that’s impossible to resist.

Recently, Oriole enjoyed an overnight sleepover with one of our volunteers and was a total gentleman. He also went on a fun field trip to a local car dealership, where he stole the show by hopping into laps and soaking up every bit of attention. Oriole is truly a photogenic king who is always camera-ready with his sweet, expressive face!

Oriole has also been a rock star in our doggy playgroup, which he has participated in many times. He thrives in rough-and-rowdy play with a variety of other dogs. When out on walks, he has great leash manners, greets everyone with a soft tail wag and hopeful eyes and has proven to be an overall well-behaved boy. Oriole has also been incredibly respectful with two young kids, ages 2 and 4, gently playing and cuddling with them like a natural family dog!
