Azalea

Azalea is a total sweetheart who’s been waiting way too long for a family of her own. She has spent most of her young life in a shelter, but you’d never know it — she’s all love, wiggles and good vibes!

Currently thriving in a foster home, Azalea has shown just how ready she is for her adoptive family. She is very respectful of the older resident dog, enjoys cuddle and nap sessions with her foster family and loves meeting new people. Her affectionate, easygoing nature has truly blossomed in a home environment!

Azalea lives to be with her people! Belly rubs? Yes, please. Full-body pets? Keep them coming! This girl is super affectionate and loves being right in the mix. On a recent outing to a local business, she had the best time meeting new people and soaking up all the attention. While she enjoys chasing after balls and tossing around her stuffy toys, she’s happiest just hanging with her humans. Azalea is also a big fan of water! On warm days, you’ll find her lounging in the kiddie pool like she owns it.

Azalea is also a fantastic friend to other dogs! She has an awesome play style — whether it’s rough-and-rowdy or low-key play, she can match the energy. She's even been super easy for medical handling, which makes vet visits and baths no big deal to her. This young pup is ready for anything in her future home!

Azalea is incredibly loving and social, but she showed some fearfulness around small children during a past meet-and-greet, where she was hesitant to enter the room. To help her feel safe and secure, we recommend a home with older kids or adults only.
